Dita von Teese Rouge and Fleur Teese Scents

I recently purchased the latest offering in the way of perfume from Dita von Teese, Rouge and Fleur Teese. Having sampled the perfumes over the last week or so I thought I'd post a review for others thinking of purchasing the scents.
Rouge is the second scent Dita created (the first being Femme Totale which I have reviewed here). Rouge contains accords of orange, bergamot, pink pepper, smoked Lapsang Souchong tea, magnolia, woody tones and raw amber, among others. Rouge is a heady scent for seduction that is perfect for an evening out and being an eau de perfum only a small amount is needed.  The scent is sold in either 20ml atomizer or 40ml bottle and comes in a beautiful jewel like ruby bottle with a sumptuous velvet ribbon around the top. It screams luxury and would look stunning on any dressing table.

I have to say of the three scents Rouge is my least favourite I found that on application the scent had a strange almost alcohol like smell that made me question whether it had gone off but after the scent had warmed to the skin it had a smokey almost woody scent. I expected rouge to be similar to Chanel no 5 although this certainly is not the case but like no 5 it is a big bold scent that is more suited to evening wear than an everyday scent.
Dita's most recent scent Fleur Teese is a romantic floral scent which is inspired by an idyllic spring garden. Unlike the first two scent this one is a eau de toilette so is perfectly light for daytime wear while still having good lasting power.  Fleur Teese contains top notes of Casablanca lily and Sambac jasmine refreshed with bergamot. The heart of the fragrance adds up to the floral opening with accords of elegant iris combined with lilac surrounded with soft and pleasant heliotrope notes. The creamy opening is enhanced with warm, deep notes of sandalwood in the base along with precious cedar and sensual musk.

For anyone wanting a comparison Fleur Teese reminds me of a cross between Paco Rabanne's Ultraviolet and Cacharels Anais Anais (two of my favourite scents) and has become my new favourite scent for everyday wear.

Fleur tease comes in a stunning purple glass vial topped of with a deep purple tassle and is available in a 20ml atomizer or 40ml bottle. Like Dita's other offerings Fleur Teese is a beautiful adornment to a lady's dressing table.
