After multiple attempts at riding my bike that mostly ended up in injury or embarrassment I finally gave up! I was a little dejected about this until the Hubby suggest that I buy a trike. At first this seemed a ludicrous idea as I did not realise that adult trikes were available and had an image in my head of me riding around on a child's trike but then I found Fraser Trikes on eBay and luckily for me they were only a little way away from my home.
I ordered my trike and it arrived within a few days it then took the Hubby another couple of days to build it but it is finally done. I have named her Joanie after Christina Hendrick's character in Mad Men as Joan's nickname is Red which my trike is!
I'm sure there will be more pictures in the future of me riding her but for now here she is in all her glory:
