Ruby Revue - September 2010

The hubby and I took my big sis and her boyfriend to the beautiful Arthouse Hotel on Pitt St on Sunday night to introduce them to the world of burlesque. This month's Ruby Revue was headed up by the highly amusing MC Danny McInlay. The first act out of the box was the divine Venus Vamp who charmed and delighted us with her mysterious veiled act. Next was the fab Miss Hedy Bell Nova, the tiny pocket rocket who balloon popping act keep us highly entertained. The third (and my favourite) act of the night was the stunning Lucille Spilfuchs, a Miss Burlesque Australia contender who (spray) painted the roses red. Topping of the first half and hailing from the USA came 'Ghetto Princess' Vixen Noir who sang about her favourite things and kept us intrigued about just what she kept in her purse!

The second half started with a heady and intoxicating performance from Venus Vamp followed by fluffy pink poodle Lucille Spilfuchs who gave us all puppy love. Next Rita Fontaine shocked and delighted us when she showed us her pussy! Vixen Noir rounded up the night with her sophisticated to booty shaking act!!

The night didn't end there as we when then treated to the fab talents of Sydney Rockabilly band The Jukebox Zombies who also gave inadvertently gave us a cheap laugh as their base player held a canny resemblance to my sisters boyfriend!
