Mary Poppins Musical


On Thursday night the hubby and I went to see Mary Poppins at the Capitol Theatre.

Mary Poppins is adapted from the P. L Travers books and the 1964 Disney movie. When the Bank's children scare off another nanny Mary Poppins answers the children's ad for the perfect nanny and many magical adventures ensue.
The hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed Mary Poppins Verity Hunt-Ballard was practically perfect in every way as Mary. Matt Lee made a fabulous Bert, he certainly nailed the cockney accent much better than Dick Van Dyke. With a show this good its no wonder that its Mary that we love. If have no other word to describe how fantastic the show was other that to say it was simply Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

  1. Matt Lee made a fabulous Bert he certainly nailed the cockney disney on ice tickets inflection much enhanced than Dick Van Dyke. With a show this good its no doubt that its Mary that we love.
