Augusts Rock n Rolls Markets

Next Sunday (the 12th) is the second Rock n Roll Markets to be held at Sydney Unis Manning House and it promises to be bigger and better than the last! Sydney Rock n Roll is the ultimate subculture market with over 50 amazing live music culture related stalls extending over 3 levels indoors and outdoors.

The massive entertainment line up features: Melbourne’s spaghetti western, doom country, shimmy shakers The Toot Toot Toots. Currently meeting with critical acclaim around the nation for their 2012 debut album “Outlaws”. Produced by Loki Lockwood (The Drones, Graveyard Train) and released by Spooky Records. Expect a dynamo flamboyant hyper rowdy carouse.

Also along for the shindig: Spurs for Jesus - Sydney’s very own thigh bruisin’, saddle rattlin’ cow punks, The Drey Rollan Band with their highly danceable  infectious blend of Roots, Rock 'n' Roll and Surf Rock and Jordan C. Thomas Trio with their brand of swing, jazz and rockabilly (it’s cool, it’s old school and it’s happening right now). With DJs Brian (Shake Rattle & Roll), Jack Sh*t (FBI) and MCs Wolfman Dan & the Rockabilly Rhino.

The market will also feature a brand new attraction with the new ground level Tiki Bar Courtyard.  Corona Beer, Sailor Jerry Rum and Mexican and International Food will be on offer and DJs Rod Almighty (Shake Rattle & Roll) & The Crimplenes will be spinning some awesome tunes.

Entry by Gold Coin Donation. Markets open 10am - 4pm!
