Legally Blonde the Musical

As previously mentioned on Tuesday night the hubby and I headed into the city to see the Legally Blonde Musical. We stopped off for a spot of dinner at Satang Thai. If you are in Sydney check it out they make the best Pad Thai ever!

After dinner we wandered over to The Stars Lyric Theatre (via the monorail to give my sore feet a rest!) to see the musical which was just awesome! Legally Blonde is of coursed based on the film of the same name staring Reese Witherspoon as Elle Wood a somewhat vapid blonde who after her boyfriend splits up with her for someone more 'serious' sets about to get into Harvard Law School to get back her beau. With some help from new-found friends Paulette, Emmett and her Chihuahua Bruiser, she learns that it's so much better to be smart

The musical was fantastically quirky and just a little cheesy. Lucy Durrack was fantastic as Elle. Rob Mills made a great Warner and my concern that he was too nice to play such a creep was disproved. The whole show was just a super cute pinktastic feel good spectacular.

After the show we stopped by that other pink palace Andriano Zumbo to grabs some yummy Zumberons then dropped in on the lovely Michelle of Ravishing Retro for a post theatre G&T on the balcony of her amazing apartment and enjoyed the fabulous views of the city!

Legally Blonde is on at the Lyric Theatre Sydney now until December 16th 2012 book your tickets at Ticketmaster here
