Dita Von Teese Femme Totale Review

Last week whilst shopping with the Purple Fairy I picked up a bottle of Ditas perfume Femme Totale.
Dita designed her own signature scent after discovering that a boyfriends mother used the same scent that she has used for over 20 years.

Femme Totale has notes of bergamot, bourbon pepper, rose, peony, tiare, jasmine, sandalwood, patchouli and musk. The perfume is contained in a black glass bottle and the neck of every bottle is adorned with a silk cord with a blood red pearl, which flows into a long black silk tassel and has a very art deco look about it. It comes beautifully packaged and is modestly priced at $29.99 for the 20ml spray or $49.99 for the 40ml atomizer and being an eau de parfum rather than a eau de toillete the scent lasts all day (or night!)
Dita describes the perfume as essence of femme fatale and it certainly would not look out of place on any femme fatale's dressing table. I was expecting the scent to be similar to channel number 5 but has a less musky and would be suitable for both day and night wear.
Dita is releasing her second scent 'Rouge' at the end of this month and I for one will be putting it on my list to Santa!
