Von Follies Latest Release

Remember way back in December when I posted the preview video of the 2013 Von Follies line (here)? Well it seems news of that elusive Madame X set has finally been released. The Madame X set is amongst those that will be released in July just in time for this bloggers birthday!
The bad news for my fellow Australians is I don't think the set will be released in Target. Dita's website states the set will be available from ASOS, Glamuse and STYLEBOP.com but Target is not mentioned.

Here is a look at the other sets due to be released soon:

Available June 2013
from ASOS and STYLEBOP.com.

Man Catcher (green)
Available June 2013

Leading Lady (pink)
Available July 2013
from ASOS and Debenhams.

Savoir Faire (pink)

from ASOS, Glamuse and STYLEBOP.com.

Star Lift (blue)

  1. I asked on their facebook page - Target is no longer a stockist, and ASOS won't be stocking the suspenders. I'm really disappointed. The other sites either don't ship here or are in French!

    1. Oh that's a shame! The you can have Google translate to translate the french site (I think it's Glamuse isn't it?) but they don't post to Australia either :(

  2. The Madame x bra is an rip off (identical) of a Playtex bra from a few years ago, I really would of expected more from her line, especially as she has openly said boycott fakes of other designers....
I know this because I bought that very bra for $3 3 years ago in TJMAXX
    proof is here:

  3. I would like to add that the unusual back/straps of the bra are also the same, although I can't find a photo of the back of the Playtex one online.

    1. It is uncannily similar. I suppose there are no truly original ideas these days when it comes to lingerie but these are a little too similar!

  4. "The Madame X set inspired by illustrations from racy Parisian vintage catalogues..." So for those stating that some of these pieces look like pieces from other collections, I say it is entirely possible. It resembles a vintage 1950's cut-out brassier only it comes up far enough to cover your nipples. Also I remember when we cleaned out my great grandmother's house she had quite a collection of vintage lingerie (it was stuff she had worn) and quite a bit looked like a number of pieces from fancy high end designers now days. There is only so much you can do too a brassier imho.
