What Emma Did - 4th July 2010

This week I have been:
♥ Getting my hair permed thanks to the lovely Lisa. Now my curls actually stay in! (I will do a hair post!)
♥ Surprised by a gorgeous roast lamb diner when I got in from work on Wednesday by my hero of a hubby

♥ Sipping mulled wine at the Sydney Winter Festival
♥ Checking out Engadine as a potential suburb to move to
♥ Watching Alice in Wonderland with the hubby
Buy a gorgeous floral dress on eBay for a steal. It says its 1950s but I'm not so sure!
♥ Looking forward to my birthday on Wednesday!!
Being insanely jealous of you Melbonians who get to see the Tim Burton exhibition and hoping it will come to Sydney

  1. I would say that dress is 80s revival rather than 50s... the elastic waist is something I don't think is seen in 50s/60s dresses. Still gorgeous though!

I can't wait to see the Burton Exhibition :D you can't do a weekend trip down here to see it?

  2. Ooh, please do a hair post! I'm seriously tossing up whether to get a perm or not... I'm sick of my hair being able to drop wet-set curls within an hour!

Sounds like you had a wonderful week, and happy birthday for Wednesday!

  3. Emmi - I think you're right but its still cute and for the price i paid im not really complaining! As for the Burton exhibition I just found out its not going anywhere else in the southern hemisphere so i'm planning a weekend break for October just before it finishes. I've never been to Melbourne before so any hints for good shops and places to go will be apeciated.

Ruby - Thanks for the birthday wishes! Ive been meaning to do a hair post all week but havent got round to it yet. I'll most likely do it tommorow as I have a free day.
