Thirlmere Rail Heritage Museum

The hubby's dad is a steam train enthusiast so on Sunday we headed over to Thirlmere to visit the New South Wales Rail Transport Museum. The museum is the oldest and largest railway museum in Australia and has over 40 locomotives and 80 carriages on display. It also runs a steam train between Picton and Buxton on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. We hopped on for a ride and were greeted by an overheated looking Santa!
