It seems that I am losing readers and followers of my blog recently. I know my posts have been a bit sporadical lately so with this in mind I am allowing readers to ask me anything and I will answer your questions or tell me what you'd like to see more of on Emma aime.

May I be frank?? Make me laugh, show me something different, put a twist on things...thats what gets followers. Not that I am able to do anything like these myself, you understand! It's hard to stand out from the crowd.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kitty for being frank. At the moment I'm finding it hard to be inspired so if you can be a bit more specific it would be a huge help. I want to do something new and different from different blogs of this genre but i'm having trouble coming up with an original idea! x
ReplyDeleteMore pictures/original content. I'm more likely to look at a post if it has pictures from that person's own life, rather than just stock photos like this Elvgren one for instance (unless it really fits the theme of the post).
ReplyDeleteThanks for the input Miss Emmi. I have become somewhat lazy when it comes to taking pics for my posts. I'm still a bit awkward when it comes to posing for pics and honestly I thought people wouldn't want to see my mug so its nice to hear otherwise. x
ReplyDeleteEm, a few more random thoughts for you; why are you blogging?? Ask yourself this. What do you have to offer that others don't?? Blogs with a strong, tight focus do better than ones without. Blogging sometimes takes me 3 hours a day, and I'm a single mother with a new business to run.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kitty your insight has been invaluable it occurs to me that perhaps blogs that have a product to sell or a business to promote do better than other more general blogs. Initially I stared blogging just as a hobby for me but now I'm starting to wonder if I can turn it into a carer and how to go about doing this. x
