The UN Girlies go to the Mountains

This weekend us girlies went up to the mountains to celebrate the French Fairy's 40th with a 1940s themed birthday party. We hired a super cute cottage for the weekend called Cherry Tree Cottage in Leura. The weather was absolutely freezing but Leura looked beautiful in the crisp winter light. We spent most of the weekend sitting in front of a gorgeous log fire drinking mulled wine. Friday was spent decorating the French Fairy's house for the party and decorating the cake. It was a homemade affair and the Purple Fairy and my decorating skills after a bottle of champagne were a bit 'impressionistic' but here it is.
Saturday night was the night of the party so we all got together in the afternoon to get our glad rags on. Here are a few piccies of the of UN girlies....
