A few weeks back a few of us Old Hatters got together for a classic movie afternoon. This month we went film noir with The Big Sleep. In true Old Hat style everyone dressed to the nines. Champagne was poured, afternoon tea was served and we settled down to watch the movie which proved to be so complex that we had to consult Wikipedia just to keep up with the plot!
Whilst on his way over Tim spotted this amazing 1950s desk thrown out in council clear up so we clamber down amongst the rubbish in all our finery and gave it a new home! After a little bit of a clean and fix up it looks just swell!
