Nan Tein Temple

Saturday was a beautifully sunny day so after I had finished work the Hubby, the Purple fairy and I hopped in the car and took a drive down the coast to Nan Tien Temple. Nan Tien Temple opened in 1995 and is the largest Buddhist temple in the Southern Hemisphere.

The temple was absolutely stunning especially the shrines. Unfortunately photography was not allowed in the shrines so I cant show you but here are some pictures from around the outside of the temple.
After taking a leisurely wander through the temple and stopping by the gift shop, museum and the art exhibition which had some beautiful portraits of Buddha we stopped by the cafe for a spot of tea in the sunshine.

Nan Tien Temple is located at 180 Berkeley Road, Berkeley, NSW 2506 and is open 9am-5pm Tuesday - Sunday and all Public Holidays.
