Being further up North in Australia means that the transition between the seasons is not so noticeable but Autumn has definitely been creeping in. However we still have many clement days so this ensemble reflects that.

I love the fabric of this skirt which is in gorgeous autumnal colours but has a tropical hibiscus print. I found this super cute autumn maple leaf brooch in LaLaRetro's shop on Etsy. They have a range of cute brooches at really reasonable prices. I will be sure to buy more in the near future.

Excuse the picture of my terrible roots I really must dye my hair. I was considering growing out to a lighter colour but after seeing this picture I think I actually prefer the black so a bottle of dye was on my shopping list this afternoon. 

I was experimenting with lazy ways to curl my hair last night and came up with a method whereby I split my hair into just 6 or 7 sections twist it and then wrap it around a curler (or rag curl it) and it turned out in these rather nice large soft curls. I will be sure to write a proper tutorial on how to do this in the near future. 

I also must mention this fab new lippy I found. It is by Face of Australia and the colour is called Forbidden Fruit. Its the perfect balance between a red and a rose pink, has great pigment, is moisturizing and lasts all day!
