We arrived in Leura just after lunch time so after dumping our bags at the cottage we rented at the weekend we headed into town and grabbed some lunch at the
Leura Gourmet Deli. I had the chicken liver pate and the hubby had a rather pink beetroot and sweet potato soup. Both were delicious.
After lunch we checked out some of the gorgeous little boutiques in town including
Leura Vintage which had some beautiful dresses unfortunately they were a little out of my price range.
We also stopped by the
Josophan's Fine Chocolates to savor all the yummy choccy!
After grabbing some groceries we headed back to the cottage and set a roaring fire to warm our cold tootsies!
We stayed at
Leura Plum which although very cute was not as nice as
Chery Tree Cottage (which is where we stayed when we went for the
UN trip back in May). Leura Plum was clean and well presented and the owner Louise is friendly and helpful but you don't get the little touches that Cherry Tree cottage provides.
